Welcome to the new Yuma FFA webpage! I hope everyone likes this
one a lot more than the last one. I'm actually able to add pictures to this one, unlike the last one! Anyway, how is everyone? Yuma
FFA is still busy as ever. Busy being the best! For Feburary... Yuma FFA has some things going on that we would like to keep
everyone updated on. There will be a Chapter meeting on February 1, 2005 in the YHS Agriculture room (T102). The meeting will
start at 3:30pm. The 1st of February is also the day of Large Animal Hardship Deadline. District CDE competition is on Feburary
11, 2005 at Arizona Western College. Practice, practice, practice teams!! The Yuma Jaycees Silver Spur Rodeo will be held
February 12th - 13th. State FFA & National FFA Scholarships are Due on the 15th of Feburary! NATIONAL FFA WEEK IS
FEBRUARY 19TH - 26TH! So mark that on your calendars! Food for America will be the 22nd - 25 and the Small animal progress
show will be February 26 at the Fairgrounds, starting at 9:00am. Remember to all Yuma FFA exhibitors: you MUST have 20 hours
of community service in order to show at the Yuma County Fair as an exhibitor! Also, you MUST attend a pre-fair for your animal(s)
to show. If you have any questions about certain exceptions or more pre-fair dates, talk to Miss Loughead. Have a great Feburary
everyone! Be safe!!

The FFA Mission The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the
lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through
agricultural education.
The FFA Motto The FFA motto gives members twelve short words to live by as they experience the opportunities
in the organization. Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.
The Yuma FFA Chapter would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our sponsers. Without sponsers, the
Yuma FFA Chapter would not be able to compete in different events or travel to different places to learn and grow as students.
We will be posting a Sponser List... so be sure to check back here for that!
